Dark Matter not Totally Dark

"Dark Matter" isn't all that dark and it is hiding in plain sight as it were.  The missing "dark" matter is the "warped" structure of space itself; and this structure is an even greater portion of the total mass of the universe than is often suggested.  The mass of the structure of the universe is locked in place but this structure (fabric) is subject to distortion or curvature by all massive objects.  This distorted "fabric" is the "dark matter."  But most of the structure of the universe is far enough from galaxies to go unnoticed in our estimates of the total.

And the massive structure of the universe is cold but not totally dark; it is the source of the "cosmic microwave background radiation."  This cosmic radiation is the signature of the motions that lock the structure of the universe in a solid but rarefied form.
